Ferit Edgü’nün “Yolcu” adlı küçürek öyküsünde yurtsuzluk itkisi

Abstract

Modern çağın yaşam biçimi, insanların varoluşsal kaygı ve korkularını tetikleyerek insanları içinde oturdukları yaşamı sorgular duruma getirmiştir. Nitekim korku ve kaygılar; zaman ve mekânın içine sıkışan insan yaşamın en büyük tehditkârıdır. Zaman ve mekânın yaşamı tehdit etmesi, insanın zamana sığmaması ve mekâna oturamamasına neden olur. Bu yüzden küçürek öykü, zamanı yitiren, mekâna oturamayan kişilerin çığlığıdır. Ferit Edgü’nün “Yolcu” adlı küçürek öyküsü de insanın yaşam karşısındaki çaresiz, bırakılmış ve yalnızlık duygusu örtük bir anlatımla okuyucuya sunar. “Yolcu” adlı eser, küçürek öykü tarzının bir ürünüdür. Öykü, sözcük ekonomisi açısından ele alındığında, küçürek öykü tarzının temel unsurlarından olan, sözcük düzeyinde simge ağını kurduğunu görmekteyiz.

The living style of modern age has made the people question the life that they live by triggering their existential anxiety and fear. However; anxiety and fear are biggest threat for the human life that squashes into time and place. Time and splace’s to be threat to the life cause people not to fit in time and to the place. Thus, short short story is the scream of the people who lost the time and cannot fit the place. The short short story named Passenger by Ferit Edgü implicitly shows the helplessness abandonment and loneliness of human being in the face of life to the reader. The story Passenger is a product of short short story. As the story is taken in terms of word economy we see its establishing sign network in word rank, which is one of the basic elements of short short story.
